Step 1- Complete the MICRO PVP Order Form. Enter your information on the form, select the number of tags, and enter the ship date and you payment information so that we can promptly get the out to you

Step 2 – Mail or fax the order form to the American Shorthorn Association. ASA will review the genetic component and then forward the order to Micro Beef to ship the tags.

Once you receive your tag order:

Step 3 – Apply EID to the animal’s left ear.

Step 4 – Record your data on the Worksheet that comes with your tags.

Step 5 – Complete the Age Verification Audit Request Form
- Make sure the form is filled out completely and signed.
- Make a copy to send to Micro Beef and keep the original on file.

Step 6 – Make a copy of your calving records to send to Micro Beef.

Fax or mail the audit request form, copy of calving records and worksheets back to Micro Beef so we can add this information to your account.

Step 7 – A Micro PVP Agent will call you to complete a phone audit or schedule an on-site audit.

Step 8 – Upon the successful completion of the Audit you will be sent the Approval Certificate. The Approval Certificate can be copied and then forwarded with the cattle as verification of age and source under the Micro PVPTM.

Cattle are not Age Verified until the cattle are EID tagged, Audit is approved and Certificate is sent.
