| WHR Gold Breeder Requirements |
WHR Gold Breeder award was started in 2004 to recognize breeders enrolled in the associations Whole Herd Reporting (WHR) system. The WHR program was implemented in 1998 in an attempt to strengthen and improve the Shorthorn breeds database and increase the value of Shorthorn genetics.
There is no question cattlemen are using more selection tools than ever to make their next herd addition. Collecting and submitting data takes additional time and effort. The WHR Gold program was developed to recognize breeders for their outstanding data collection and submission.
Breeders who qualify for this award will be recognized each year at the national show. Recipients will be allowed to use the WHR Gold Breeder logo for the following year in their advertising and signage |
