OMAHA, Neb., (December 6, 2010) – Junior Shorthorn exhibitors in Louisville, Ky., entered the ring in competition for champion junior heifer on Nov. 14th at the North American International Livestock Exposition (NAILE). Brigham Stewart of Mid-Continent Farms, Washington, Kan., evaluated the 191 heifer entries.
Jordan Crall of Albia, Iowa was awarded Grand Champion Female honors with CYT MAX ROSA 9111 ET, which was the Junior Champion Female. This March 1, 2009 born female was sired by CF SOLUTION X ET. Following with the Reserve Champion Female honors was SULL SASSY SARA 9150 ET, shown by Chelsea Spencer of Chickasha, Okla. Spencer’s female March 16, 2009 born female was sired by CF SOLUTION X ET and also claimed the Reserve Junior Champion female title.

Exhibiting the Champion Bred & Owned Female was Ashley Vogel of Hartley, Iowa with MAV FELECIA 043X ET. The May 20, 2010 born heifer calf was sired by HI VIEW’S ACE OF DIAMONDS and claimed the Late Spring Heifer Calf division.
